Welcome! The Mt. Laurel Skiers (MTL) is an ALL Season Sports and Social Club and a member of the Connecticut Ski Council which offers discount ski tickets. Our members are warm, friendly, fun and interesting people of all ages. The club typically hosts weekly social gatherings which include our community meetings. Members are primarily from Connecticut and neighboring states, but some from as far away as Florida and Kentucky!
There are a variety of organized activities such as downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, kayaking, golfing, seasonal get togethers AND the benefit of a renovated 32 bed lodge in Ludlow, Vermont near the base of Okemo.

Mt Southington CT Ski Council Monday Night Racing
Starts on December 21st (Snow permitting)
On December 14th the CSC and Mt Southington will host free Pizza night! (7:00 pm – 9:00+) for pre-registration & get together.
The CSC will not race on the night of December 14th but we will ask that you fill out your season registration form to eliminate the always hectic rush of the first night.
If there is skiing, (but no racing) on the 14thyou are welcome to ski (special ticket $ of $25.00) if area open. The CSC will have all registration forms available for you to fill out or you can print them out from the Mt Southington web page.
(There are 2 waivers = Mt Southington/CSC and NASTAR)
There will be no cost for the night. Hope to see you – around 7:00 pm.

Lodge Vouchers / Reservations
Lodge vouchers may be purchased now through December 9th. Contact Lisa Durland or Lynn Swanson to purchase. Lodge reservations are being accepted now for the months of December, January and February. See the November 8th Squall for more details.
There are 43 active skiers in 22 rooms participating in the Jay Peak trip. Reservations are being finalized for the drive trip. As a reminder: final payment is due December 1st. See the MTL Ski Club Trips section for additional information including the participation list.

CSC Awareness Days 2015 - 16
The CSC Awareness Days for Ski Season 2015-16 (Prelimiary 2) have been published. Remember, you will need a 2015-16 sticker on your membership card to use the Awareness Days. See Scott Farrar at a meeting or email him to request your sticker(s).
Wassail Weekend, December 11th - 13th
Come join the festivities in VT for this fun weekend. We go to Woodstock VT for the annual Christmas parade, enjoy lunch and walk around and shop. Return to the lodge for dinner. If you are not staying at the lodge but want to join us for dinner you must let Kay know by Dec. 6th. Reservations can be made beginning of November for the December weekend. CSC Kids Lean to Ski Day, December 12th
There will be a FREE 2 hr. ski/snowboard lesson plus participant party with refreshments, souvenir and photos (emailed to parent). Check out the flyer for more details and registration/waiver to sign up.
Christmas Dance, December 16th
The Annual Christmas Dance will be held at the Whinstone Tavern on December 16, 2015. Dance to the music of the fabulous “Rockin Heartbeats”. Dancing from 7:00 to 10:00. New Year's Ski Weekend, December 31th - January 3rd
New Year's Ski Weekend, Dec 31th - Jan 3rd, will be held at the Lodge. Reservations can be made any time.
