The Mt. Laurel Skiers (MTL) is an ALL Season Sports and Social Club and a member of the Connecticut Ski Council which offers discount ski tickets. Our members are warm, friendly, fun and interesting people of all ages. The club typically hosts weekly social gatherings which include our community meetings. Members are primarily from Connecticut and neighboring states, but some from as far away as Florida and Kentucky!
There are a variety of organized activities such as downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, kayaking, golfing, seasonal get togethers AND the benefit of a newly renovated 32 bed lodge in Ludlow, Vermont near the base of Okemo.

Bike Weekend - July 2014
Kudos to Lynn Swanson & Jeanne Delehanty for planning a fantasitc Bike Weekend. The weather was great, rides run and the BBQ was delicious along side a roaring fire. It was great times with great friends. Check out the photos!
We just learned the sad news that Ginny Ludwig's mother passed away in Texas.
The Annual Summer Picnic took place on July 16 at Camp Happy Hill in Unionville. Thanks to Milli Arnold and her crew for hosting a great event and to Neal Fisher for his DJ contribution. Check out the photos by Barbara Murkowicz and a video!

Trike Race! (Change in Date)
UPDATE: The Trike Race has been postponed until September. We're still planning on a fun Blues Brothers/Babes weekend at the Lodge July 25-27. Dinner at the Lodge . Contact Charlotte LeClair with questions.. Neal Fisher put together a history of Mt. Laurel's involvement with the Trike Race and the Blues Brothers. Check it out! Over the years seven men and 22 women have represented your club at this event.

Annual Shelter Island Bike Ride August 23rd
The annual Shelter Island Bike ride, fire dept lunch, and the arts & crafts show will be Saturday August 23rd. We meet Sat. August 23rd 8:30 am at the New London Ferry Dock, 2 Ferry St., New London,CT. Boat leaves for Orient Point 9:00 am. Parking available across the street.
