Welcome! The Mt. Laurel Skiers (MTL) is an ALL Season Sports and Social Club and a member of the Connecticut Ski Council which offers discount ski tickets. Our members are warm, friendly, fun and interesting people of all ages. The club typically hosts weekly social gatherings which include our community meetings. Members are primarily from Connecticut and neighboring states, but some from as far away as Florida and Kentucky!
There are a variety of organized activities such as downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, kayaking, golfing, seasonal get togethers AND the benefit of a renovated 32 bed lodge in Ludlow, Vermont near the base of Okemo.
MTL is more than just a ski club! And anyone can join to enjoy the many benefits and discounts. Explore the website to learn more.
Sunday's paddle on the Salmon River (scheduled for 7/31) has been changed to this Saturday, 7/30, at the same time (meet at 8:30 for a 9 am launch time) and place. See Kayaking Page for more details.
There have been several great events over the past few weeks. Check out the updated Photos!!
2016-17 Membership Renewal
It is now time to Renew Your Membership with Mt. Laurel Skiers. The membership year runs from September 1st through August 31st. The deadline to submit your renewal for the 2016-17 membership year is August 31st. If you renew after August 31st, please include the $15 late fee in your payment.
Here are two important updates regarding Renewals:
Payment via PayPal POSTPONED: Testing of the membership functionality on the Reservation System has uncovered issues with financial transaction data. Rather than risk manual workarounds which can cause data integrity problems, the Board voted to postpone implementing electronic PayPal renewals for this membership period.
Dependent Children: The Household category has been revised to reflect the updated Bylaws as it relates to dependent children of club members. Dependent children under age 26 and residing in the same household as the adult member(s) are now included in the Household memberships. Previously dependent children age 22 and under were included.
Renewals will be done as they have been done in the past by completing the Renewal Application and mailing it to the address indicated on the form along with your payment. Be certain to read, sign and return the updated waiver which is on the second page of the renewal form. The updated Membership Agreement and Waiver encompasses not only the activities of the club but also the use of the Mt. Laurel lodge in Vermont.
The Renewal Application as well as the New Member Application can be found on this page via links, on the Links / Flyers / Form page, and in the July Newsletter. I will be at most meetings so you can give me your completed form and payment. I will also have extra copies of the the Renewal and New Member forms if you need them.

High School Photos
It's back! The weekly lineup of what we looked like when the world was still in black and white. A new photo will be displayed each week. The identity will be revealed in a morph a week later. If your smiling youthful countenance hasn't been displayed, it's time to dig out the yearbook. Scan the photo or take a good quality digital photo of it and send it to Pat Moore at firstname.lastname@example.org. Take a look at who we've identified so far at this page. You may have to refresh the page to see the updates.
