Annie Alden is recuperating from knee replacement surgery and went home from the hospital on Thursday.

Check out our new recruiting video!  It's a "Year in the Life" look at all the activities this terrific club engages in.  Clicking on the image  launches it.  It's undergone a couple of revisions.  The versions in total have been watched over 600 times.  Be sure to share it with anyone you think would be interested in joining the club.  Turn down your speakers if you're viewing this at work.  If at home, crank 'em up!  It's great music.

MTL members had a great day kayaking on the Mystic River.  Thanks to Kay for submitting photos!

MTL Member George Aspland hosts an online eZine called TopiaRoad.  It's devoted to skiing/snowboarding and cycling.  Authors are sought for articles.  Interested in sharing one?

Personal note from your webmaster Pat Moore:  At the 2008 NASTAR National Championships in Steamboat history was made.  For the first time a racer became National Champion in more than one category.  I won the Men's 60-64 Snowboard title and followed it up with the Men's 60-64 Gold Division Skiing title.   Ski Racing Magazine made note of the achievement. While out there I maintained an online diary.  Plan on joining me at the Nationals next year!

Your website has been in existence since 1999.  I found a site that archives old webpages and was able to find how our site looked in 2003.  Update:  I was able to find an archive of our site from 1997 when Todd Sun maintained it.  Check it out!

The Killington Trike Race is only a memory but you can relive those memories! Check out the Blues Brothers and Blues Babes Tribute Page!  Woo Hoo!!  Neal Fisher has just submitted a recap of our 1995 entry.  You gotta read this one.  It's amazing we even went on to a third year after this!  More photos soon!

Have you ever visited the MTL Videos page?  Some of them have audio so turn down your speakers if you're at work.

Important news: We have a printable online roster. The LOGIN and PASSWORD are the same ones you use for the searchable roster. This online version is updated every time we receive new information. Print a copy for home, office, and your glove compartment. If your own entry needs modification (i.e. add your cell phone number), send a message to Chuck Hannah at membership@mtlski.com.

ODD LOTS....(Let me know what announcements you'd like to make here).....Remember the newsletter deadline is the third Wednesday of each month.... Directions to the Lodge.....
