Interested in an informal interclub ski race?  Mt. Laurel has been invited to participate in the inaugural Okemo Valley Interclub Race on Saturday, February 4th at noon.   It will be held on Okemo's new NASTAR course on Bull Run.  Kids are welcome.  We'll be competing against three other clubs:  Manchester, Norwalk, and Grumman.  Cost is expected to be $20 which covers the race fee, medals, and munchies and soft drinks afterward at the Grumman Lodge in downtown Ludlow.  BYOB. We need to field at least ten racers in order to have our points count.  Please let me know ASAP if interested as I need to give them a headcount soon.  Pat Moore webmaster@mtlski.com

On Snow, the CSC annual Winter Carnival, is coming up sooner than you realize.  Jonathan Houck has put together an informational page. Club Trip 2012 registration form is online!  The trip is a sell out.  Money is due now.  The destination is Park City, one of the most popular ski resorts in North America.  The trip runs from Jan 28 to Feb 4.  Have you ever skied in Utah? It's home to some of the most legendary ski conditions on the planet. A few days ago nearby Snowboard broke its all-time snowfall record with 711 inches. That's nearly sixty feet! Park City Mountain Resort hosted many of the alpine and Nordic events in the 2002 Olympics.  Ski Magazine ranks Park City # 5.  Check out their review. We are currently 100% full .   Take a look at who's going! Call Eric at 203-265-9293 for any information.  Check out the local webcam.
