Mt. Laurel Skiers e-Blast
Issue 47
April 24, 2007
Dear Member,
This is just going to be a short e-blast. Hope everyone is enjoying the return of warm weather!

Annual Banquet

Our annual banquet is scheduled for May 19th at Wethersfield CC.  Get your registration form in today!  This is the one event on MTL's calendar that you can't miss!!!!

Elections

Our Annual Elections will be held this Wednesday, April 25th.  Make your vote count!  Nominations can be made from the floor.

Sad news.....

This past Thursday, two of MTL's Lifetime members lost siblings.  Terry Tabshey's sister and John Pappalardo's sister both passed away.  Please take a moment to give a thought to those we have lost.   It has been a year since Jim Mays died.

Eila McCloskey
Eila
Lifetime member Eila McCloskey is about to become America's youngest (and youngest looking) 70 year old.  Help her celebrate achieving this milestone on May 12th!  Eila's nephew, Nick Palazzi, lost his home to a fire in December.  Mt. Laurel will be holding a fund-raising raffle April 25th,  the same night as our club elections.  Please plan to be there to support Nick.
That's it folks.  See you on the bike trails and golf courses.

Sincerely,

Lip Synch 2007 is in the history books and the top vote getters were Betsy Gaudian, Aletta Chamberland, Sharon Houck, and Linda Dinda for their sensational rendition of Menopause Melody. Second place was a tie between Mill Arnold for "T&A" from Chorus Line and Neal Fisher, Fred Murray, Jonathan Houck and Pat Moore's multilingual YMCA.  Third place went to Sharon and Jonatha Houck's Phantom of the Opera.
