Lip Synch!!!!    April 18 
 
Lip Synch is almost here!  Once again John Ewen will be hosting this major event on the MTL Calendar.  If you've never attended one before you're in for a treat.  Get there early to get a good seat.  Note:  bringing anyone under the age of 18 is a bad idea.

 

Kayaking 
 
It's time to start thinking about kayaking.  To get you in the right frame of mind, we will have a guest speaker from Collinsville Canoe & Kayak at the May 2 meeting to talk about kayaks, equipment safety, and to answer your kayaking questions.  Contact Fred Murray for further info.

Fund Raiser Raffle

Eila McCloskey's nephew, Nick Palazzi, lost his home to a fire in December.  Mt.Laurel will be holding a fund-raising raffle April 25th,  the same night as our club elections.  Please plan to be there to support Nick.

Monday Night Biking
 

Monday Night Biking is just around the corner.  Ride chairman Andy LeClair announces that our first ride of this season will be held on April 30th at St. Gregory's Church · From Rt 84 take Rt 6 to Bristol. Turn Right onto Stafford Ave., just past Stephen's Auto Mall. St. Gregory's Church is on your left. Pizza at the "famous" Pavilion follows.   Remember to check in at both the beginning and end of the ride and helmets are mandatory.

Camping Weekend
 

We're Going Camping Again. Join  us for a fun weekend at Melville Pond Campground, Portsmouth, RI, June 15- 17 2007. We have reserved the same large open area as last year, which will accommodate approximately 40 people. The fee is $10, non-refundable, per person. Make checks payable to Joe Mangione. Get your group together and see Joe to choose a spot to pitch your tent. If you have a pop-up camper, you can make reservations directly with the campground (S30/night including water & elec) by calling 401 -682-2424 from 9am to 8pm. Things to do include: biking from Bristol to E. Providence (bike path), Newport and FortAdams: golf, Visits to wineries, shopping, partying. Directions from Rt. 114 to campground will be provided when you sign up with Joe. If you have questions, or would like to sign up. call Joe Mangione at 860-646-7505.
